My oakwood Vacation- day 1

So, after tossing and turning all night long, I finally got out of bed at 5:45 so that I could at least move my procrastination to a different room. Jumped in the shower at 6 and left by 7.

Arrived at the hospital with minimal problems, although I am pretty sure it would have been easier for me to drive since I know the way, but being "he is the man" I sat next to him sounding like a cheap, bitchy GPS system.

At last we made it and checked in and even had to have blood drawn;;. My appoint me was 930 (arrive by 730 please) and sure as shit I was in the operation room at 930! Talk about efficient!

The only thing I can remember the anesthesiologist saying on the was to the O.R. was !this shot will make you loopy! " I said GREAT! Then I was in recovery.

Made it to my "home base" for the next 3 days without a problem. Love that It has a window. Lots more room! I think my only complaint so far is that they was me up to take my blood pressure and then ask me if it's always so low. I wish someone would write this shit down. Like a file o some sort! Wee I am loopy amid my eyes are blurry. Going to bed y'all.

8 hours until liftoff

Ok.
Last night  and then my 4 +day vacation starts at "club Oakwood" .

I have to come up with a better name than that.

I have to get some sleep, but that is hard to do when something so big is about to happen.
Sure would be nice if they gave you a newcar or a million dollars when you make it out, like on Survivor and stuff. It would make this whole thing a little easier to take. Then if they messed up and I ended up paralyzed or something, I would be like "that's cool, look at my awesome new BMW"!

Of course, even if they don't automatically give everyone a new car just for having surgery and I end up paralyzed, I am getting a new BMW from them.
And a new house.
On the river.
With servent quarters.
And a bunch of servents.
Just saying...
